Conant. 3.Benjamin Denton Buck bn 7 July 1802 PA; died 16 Sept 1865 Pleasant Twp. Putnam, OH; Married 2 Mar 1825 Medina Co., OH to Almeda Conant bn 23 Feb 1808 Cuyahoga Co. NY; died 23 Mar 1892 Pleasant, Putnam, OH 7 children: a. William Buck bn 17 Dec 1824 died 18 Feb 1841 b. Seth Buck bn 5 Sept 1827; died 18 Feb 1875; married 23 Dec 1851 to Anna Bowers and had 10 children which I will skip. c. Benjamin "Ben" Buck Jr. bn 16 Mar 1830; died 10 Aug 1897; married Harriet A. Roberts born 25 Nov 1836; died 28 Dec 1924; they had 5 children with more infromation; d. Lavina Buck born 29 Dec 1833; died 5 May 1857 ; married 27 Jan 1853 to Allen Edmond. e.Orson Buck bn 18 July 1836; died 26 Jan 1882; married 18 Oct 1857 to Martha "Mary" Bogart bn 8 Jan 1839; died 9 May 1899. They had 10 children. more info. f. Henry Buck born 21 July 1839; died 8 Nov 1918; married 20 Aug 1863 to Susan Wagner born 13 Apr 1837; died 1 Jan 1879 had 4 children. more info. Then Henry married 8 May 1881 to Mary J. Leonard bn July 1841 OH. Do not know if they had children? g. Lewis Denton Buck born 13 Oct 1841. So I do not know how this family fits in with Morgan F. Buck and Hiram Clinton Buck. I did find a 1890 Veterans Schedule Erie, OH page 8 has Number 8 the Family number 83; Morgan F. Buck Private company B regiment: 186 OH inf. 17 Jan 1855; Discharged: 18 Sept 1865: 8 months 1 day. 1860 Census Milton, Wayne, OH is a Morgan Buck age 12 bn 1848, OH living with Wiseman Cotton age 56 bn NH and his wife Matilda Cotton age 39 bn NY. in the Census of 1870; 1880; and 1900 Green, Gallia, OH is the only Morgan Buck I can find and I do not think it was him but not sure. 1920 Census Granite, Ferry, WA Morgan F. BUck age 71 bn 1849 OH parents bn OH & Ethel A. Buck age 51 bn England parents bn England and she came to U.S. in 1906. 1930 Census Veterans, Kitsap, WA Morgan F. Buck age 83 bn 1847 OH parents bn OH married age 26 Ethel M. Buck age 62 bn England parents bn England married age 19; 1906 NA. So think he may have been in England or even in Kansas in the Census years I could not find him. Maybe if Mr. Buck at johnedwardbuck@fmtcs.com gives us the line of James Oliver Buck or some dates, we might be able to piece this together. Do you know anything about Hiram Clinton Buck at all. Carol
