I have a will and homestead patent that was in Smith Center Ks. Smith County court house. It was Hiram Clinton Buck's will. It states that he left his farm to James Oliver Buck, a piece of land in Portis KS to Morgan F. Buck and the rest of his belongings and proceeds from them to his two daughters Rachel Ann Jones and Alice M. Jones provided that his wife Adelia Abigal was not living. She was however alive when he passed away 1 Dec 1897. I know that my great grand father (James Oliver Buck) left KS with his mother (Abigal) and moved to Kiowa county, Eads CO. James Oliver, Adelia and his sons homesteaded there. I have a lot of information on that line, however I know nothing about Morgan F. Buck. I am not sure if he was ever in KS or not. I have email from a cousin that he lived in Pennsylvania with his mother Harriet Ann (Atkins) Buck and later in CA. Supposably he made a fortune in oil. Supposably he had a sister! named Sylvia. Any possible leads on Morgan or Sylvia would be greatly appreciated
