Per the Barbour Collection of CT Vital Records of New Milford Thaley BUCK, dau. of Samuel Beebe BUCK and Hannah FAIRCHILD was born 17 Jan 1778. This is apparently the same Thaley or Thalia who married Benjamin STONE, Jr. on 23 Apr 1803 in New Milford. There is no Phebe BUCK birth listed in the New Milford volume after 1761. There might be something in the New Milford Church records if you want to contact the Congregational Church there. A few years back I was able to get some baptismal records on another family from that church. I have a Phebe BUCK born 1803 to Israel BUCK and Phebe BENEDICT. His parents were John BUCK and Elizabeth JUDD. The John BUCK you listed born 6 Sep 1773 is the son of John BUCK and Elizabeth JUDD and a brother to Israel. But unfortunately the New Milford volume has no wife listed for John born 1773 if indeed he grew up and married. There again you might try the church for a possible marriage record. I have Peru, Onondaga NY for the death of Israel but another source has it Peru, Clinton, NY which is not too far from St. Lawrence Co., NY Of perhaps some interest the John Buck born 1773 is a 3rd cousin to Thalia or Thaley Buck of the first paragraph. Maybe others can weigh in on some of these families. any IRA BUCK's born canada @1802 in the mix?
