The parents were born circa 1775 and may have been immigrants. You're going to have to go into the Canadian Census to find a lead on the parents.Since the nationality and faith are given, I think a bit of digging may come up with the other data, but it isn't in the IGI or Ancestral files. It says they lived in Brock,Ontario when the census data was taken. You may be able to get the film for the various census years from the FHL to check them. There were many people name Ira Buck in New England and Northern New York, along with the Ira Buck you are researching, so the task will not be an easy one.
