I believe his father was Dr. Abijah Orange Buck, from Vermont, and later Westfield, NJ and PA. Dr. Buck was the second husband of Bob's mother, Emilie F. Bellingrath of CT, parents from Germany. I had the pleasure of "meeting" Bob Buck within the past year, by mail, and email. He was married to a 2nd cousin of mine, Jean Pearsall, also of Westfield, NJ, and filled me in just a bit on his family history. But he also made it clear he wouldn't dwell on the past, nor would he speak of his father, John Nietzel. "I'm too busy living life and looking forward to be concerned with the past", he told me.
