Besides a William and Henry, were there other children? Q: Is the following WILLIAM BUCK the father of EMANUEL (ENOCH) BUCK and his brother HENRY BUCK, both who in 1647 removed to Wethersfield, Hartford Co., CT? WILLIAM2 BUCK (JAMES1) was born 1585 in Wethersfield, [Suffolk co., no. of Braintree] ENG, and died 24.Jan.1657/58 Cambridge, Mass, age 72. He is bur. at Old Cemetery in Cambridge. [Harvey states in "The Buck Family," on page 29, that "It was in 1684, during the pendency of these suits, that Emanuel (or Enoch), Buck, deposed that he was then 61 years of age which fixed 1623, as the year of his birth."] He married (1) SARAH RYLEY bet. 1645-48 She was born Abt. 1625 Wethersfield, CT, died 21 May 1657 Wethersfield, CT. (Harvey, p. 242) He then married (2) MARY ARNOLD "(rec. Wethersfield) 17 April 1758, ["Mary, surname not stated in the record, who was however, daughter of JOHN ARNOLD of Hartford (CT). Mary Kirby was born 1645 Hartford, CT, d. 17 Jan 1712, Wethersfield, CT. ["Her father, John KIRBY immigrated to America from Rowington, near Keuilworh, in Warwickshire, England, in 1643 a settled in Plymouth, Mass.
