I had the # of children wrong too, but I thought I was wrong. I often wondered where her husband was. It could be a movie. The reason I was even reading the article with interest was my ggggrandfather, Barzillai Benjamin Buck was born about 1776 & applied for a grant from the Crown when he was about 21 & rec'd 200 acres in Ontario. I don't know the conditions of receiving the grant or anything about his parents or wife. I would like to get a copy of the grant application. The sleuthing is a challenge. Thanks again as that story has haunted me. (^^) Twila
