In case you weren't aware, Charles C. Buck moved to Lynchburg, VA to wrok as a surveyor just before the Civil War began which entrapped him there for the rest of his life... He was my gr grandmother's father...... I even still have some ancient love letterw written in the late 1880's from Charles Buck's sisters to their beaus..... I believe his sisters were named Octavia and Capitolia...... CCB's parents were named Jonathan and Mahala (Bisbee) Buck....
