Hello Ms. Stetson, I'm the author of the original posting that "Kathryn" responded to. I am, too, a descendant of Abidijah Buck........from Bucksport/field Maine. Although some of his forebers moved to Va. just before the Civil War and stayed there well into the 20th century. The last Buck in my line was my Gr grandmother......who died in Lynchburg in 1958. Her son was my maternal grandfather.....Raymond Clayton. And that is all I will mention about him since it isn't very polite to speak ill of the deceased.
