Lydia HAWKINS of New Milford, Litchfield, CT married 29 Nov. 1768 Reuben MOGER. They had a daughter Rebecca Bowers MOGER born 1 April 1780 in New Milford. I have reason to believe this Lydia HAWKINS is the daughter of Robert HAWKINS (1729-1828) and Rebecca BOWERS (1729-1756), daughter of Samuel BOWERS and Sarah CARRINGTON. He married 2nd in 1758 New Milford Rachel BUCK, d. of Enoch BUCK and Mary BEEBE.. I am wondering if the Reuben MOGER who married Lydia HAWKINS is the son of Samuel MOGER and Sary of Newtown, Fairfield, CT. Reuben, son of Samuel and Sary MOGER was born 3 March 1746 in Newtown. This couple had a number of children born in Newtown, but no marriages of the children are recorded there. I would appreciate any clues about these possibly related MOGER families.
