He was a member of the Hammondsport Moose Lodge, and an avid outdooorsman. Surviving are: his wife, Hazel Applebee Buck; two daughters, Katrina of the University of West Virginia, and Brandie at home; one son, Tim at home; his parents, both of Hammondsport; one sister, Renee Bates of Avoca; four brothers, Stephen of Bradford, Warren of Avoca, Barry of Pulteney, and Donald of Hammondsport; one half-brother, Nathan of Hammondsport; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9 pm today in the Bond-Davis Funeral Home, Hammondsport, with a Moose service at 8pm. Services will be there 2pm Saturday, the Rev. Robert Rochelle officiating.
