I have found in the 1850 US Federal Census - PA-Wyalusing Twp. that my Chester BUCK and his family were living next door or close to other BUCKs unless the census taker just went willy-nilly all over the county. (the numeration in the #2 Visitation Column of the Census is 156, Silas BUCK; 157, Israel BUCK; 158, Chester BUCK) I am thinking that these three BUCK families might be related but I haven't found out the relationship of Chester BUCK as of yet. Israel BUCK is the oldest of the three at age 62 in this census, Chester is 40, and Israel is 35. I have confirmed that Israel BUCK and Eliza WELLS had a son Silas, b. 1819, that would put him close to the right age mentioned in the census but I haven't been able to confirm that Israel is the father of Chester. I have info from "The History of Sauk County Wisconsin 1880" that Rev. Jared BUCK was Chester's father, but can find no other info online in any genealogy site or census that even mentions a Jared BUCK in the right time frame.
