I keep in touch with a Ms Thomas who said that he was his grandfather, I think. Actually, he was my gr great uncle on my mother's side...... Their surmame was Buck and CCB's generation was from Virginia....... But his forebears were from Maine......particularly Bucksport/Field. If anyone cares to verify or add to this let me know.
