Hello, I've got two Buck families I'm trying to trace. For all I know they may be two parts of the same one. But here is the info I have. David Buck married Anna Russell. Their daughter was Abelina Buck, born 30 July 1772 in Killingly, CT. Abelina (I've seen at least two other variations of this first name)married Anson Perry on 20 Sept. 1798 I think in Killingly or Putnam, CT. She died 15 Mar. 1866 in Killingly, CT. Anson Perry and Abelina (Buck) Perry's son George Perry married Eliza Watson Buck. (It is interesting to me that this George Perry was born and died at the same house but in the birth year it is in Killingly, CT and the death year it is in Putnam, CT.) This Eliza (Elisa) Watson Buck was born 9 Apr. 1811 in Putnam, CT to Joseph Buck and Dorcus. My sources indicate Dorcus was a Fairbanks. Eliza had a twin brother named Elisha Fairbanks Buck. Are these Buck families connected to each other? Or just connected through these two Perry marriages? Another question, Is there a book about Buck families in Connecticut? Any info, suggestions, or questions are welcome.
