In the book it tells of John C. (Cornelius) Buck and Elizabeth migrating from N.C. through Alabama and Tennesee to Clark County Arkansas. They had nine children , William born 1818 in N. C., Edward born 1819 in N.C., Morgan born 1823 in N.C. Martha born 1825/26 in N.C. Ailcey born 1828 in Alabama, Martin Gulve born 1830 in AR. (my great grandfather) , Sarah born 1832, Nancy born 1838, B. Cornelius born 1839. These can be found in census records and land grants. Martin Buck married Elmira Francis and had seven children, he then married Millie Jane Cunningham and they had 6 children. One was John Martin Buck my grandfather, he married Missouri Roberts and raised 11 children. Most of this information can be found in the Clark County records. I have been in contact with several of Martin's descendents and have spoken with them at reunion. I still live not too far from Clark County and have several relatives that still live there. Dianne
