Their children were Reaty and Cassy. Mary was born abt. 1792 at Hadnot Creek, Carteret Cnty, NC - married Brian Francis Buck on either 7 Jul or 7 Nov 1812 in Carteret County - and died in 1860 in Peletier, Carteret Cnty, NC. This is all information that was supplied to me from the collected geneological works of my grandmother, Ruby Jeanette (Bell) Buck.

My files show Allen married to Vashti Bell on 8 Jul 1841. I have no record of their children or any possible additional marriages and children. I am also descended from Brian Francis Buck and his second wife Mary (Polly) Prescott. On a similar vein. I have a record of Levi Bell b. 1812 married to Charlotte Adams on 29 Sep 1838 in Carteret Cnty, NC. These are also direct ancestors of mine. S.T.Buck

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VYG.2ACIB/1530.1 Message Board Post: What can you tell us about Orrin BUCK to help with tracking down possible ancestors? I find from the US federal census that Orrin BUCK born abt 1811 was born in New York State and went to Antwerp Twp., Van Buren Co., MI before son Lawson or Alanson was born in 1850. The family was still there in 1860, and in 1870 in Chesire, Allegan, MI. From the census the children were Orrin J., Louisa, Emma A., Sarah, Cyrus John or John Cyrus and Alanson. There was an Orrin Buck born 1793 whose family originated from CT and whose parents at one point lived in St. Lawrence Co., New York. I have no idea if there are family connections here. There are several knowledgeable BUCK researchers on the Buck-L@rootsweb list. If you provide more information even if just possible clues, perhaps someone can provide more information.
