Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VYG.2ACIB/1544 Message Board Post: Hello: I am researching the family of Frances Malvina Turner born 10 Jan 1884 in Greenville PA. She married Earl Eugene Buck who was born Apr 1878 in MercerCnty PA(s/o Julius Buck--Caroline Meyers. In the 1930 census he was in Fort Smith Arkansas (Sebastian County) with Frances & their son Earl Eugene Jr, who was born in 1920/1921. From obits I think they were in Fort Smith until at least 1940. By 1967 Frances had married Mr Weiskotten & lived in California. Does anyone know what happened to this family? Thanks for any clues. Dianna

I have had a lot of emails to respond to. There is a possibility that we might be able to come up with something here. Edward might have even come to Australia for a time, married someone, our Olive might have been the result and he might have later returned to America. As Edward has so many gaps in his life for which you do not have any information, would you be prepared to exchange information in family tree form, such as an attached file which sets it all out clearly or a Gedcom? If our ancestors do not connect at this stage, I feel that if we keep each other's information on file for the Bucks we are not far away from connecting ancestors, as we cannot find any ascendants for Olive at all, but we can give you her Australian descendants. Mind you, we don' t have much but what we do have might help someone, perhaps you, to connect the Buck lines somewhere down the track. Many American families descend from old English ancestors, as do many Australian families. Our ancestors also came from Germany (Bavaria) and we are trying to find connecting lines. I am confident that we might do this in the near future. If we keep enough information we will be successful. Hoping to have a positive reply.

I would also like to apologise to anyone still waiting for a response to any emails they sent me in reply to that email. I have received many genealogy emails and am a little behind schedule with my replies. I ask that you bear with me a bit longer until I get up to you. I have an ancestor on record by the name of Olive Beryl Buck, born on 28 January,1917 in Albion, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, who married Charles John Joseph Phillip Hasling, born 1908 St. Leonard’s New South Wales Australia, died in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and was buried/cremated at the Mount Thompson Crematorium, Mount Gravatt, Queensland. Charles & Olive married on 5 February,1936 in Queensland. They had two daughters, Judith Beda born 1936 and Sandra Claire born 1939. These daughters are second cousins to my wife. We are desperate to find ancestors/siblings, etc. for Olive. They could be in any country, such as America, England, etc. as we cannot trace her origins. Can anyone help?

The "to construct a family tree for everyone in the world" is larger than you may think. But that would be great now wouldn't it? Good Luck....... My Buck line was in the states a very short while and went to Ontario, and later generations moved back to the states. Our immigrant was Frederick BUCK 1716 Germany, with his 2 sons (at least) Philip and George BUCK. Maybe daughter Mary and another son... Frederick Buck. Please check out my website for more info: www.Beth-website.net Front page has several links to Buck pages. Any questions ? would be glad to answer But remember ........... And all of us are learning new things every day about our heritage so don't be afraid to ask questions from everyone you meet in here. I'm sorry but all I have is the children of Jonathan and Zuria and my line. The only thing I have on Ephraim is him and his wife Nancy Agnes Taylor. Good luck in finding more information on your line. I'll try to see if in can find more info when I go to the Historical Center next week. So don't always take what you heard as gospel. Even grandma's tell stories, I know, I'm a grandma. I'm sure if someone lived in OK they were familiar with the Indian Language since most of the Indians were taken out to reservations there, and in order to communicate with them some learned their language. I have John Shelton and Sarah Sally Buck in my data but I do not have anything other than names with the parents of Sarah being Thomas Buck and Mary Range who go back to Jonathan Buck and Zurvia Covalt, I think you need to look into this family more, maybe TN has some records that would proove something.
