Hi, My Thomas Buck was born in England in 1799 and was transported to Sydney, Australia in 1819. He married Martha Turner in 1830 and had a son Thomas. I have not been able to find any information on his parents etc. Any help would be appreciated. Sandra

I am researching my BUCK side of my family which is my maternal Grandfathers side. I have info back to my g. g. g. grandfather Chester BUCK. Here is a quick rundown of the generations. Jared BUCK I have gotten most of my info from a book I own, "History of Sauk County WI, 1880", and the rest from family members. I have become stuck at Jared Buck. I found a Jared Buck b. 18 Oct. 1783 in Worcester, MA with parents Peter and Jamima Buck but this doesn't seem to match my info that my Jared was born in NY according to Census. Buck Listers! I am searching for the father of my Ann Buck who married Barnabus McCall in 1799 in Randolph County Va. now W.V. She listed only her mother as Tabitha. I'm sorry but I have no info regarding this Sarah Buck. THe book I mentioned covers primarily Buck's that were in Conn., then NY. That is the Harvey book. I do remember a comment, someplace, that part of my line is considered by some to be related to the PA line. I cann't find it at the moment but I will continue to look for it. I can't find what happened to Elizabeth who married Peter Michael, Margaret "Peggy" who married Adam Mowrey, Catherine who married David Mowrey, or Anna Barbara, apparently the youngest. This family was active in the St. Paul Lutheran Church near Madisonville. Several of the family members moved to Webster Co, MO by 1860. The Mowreys may have gone to IN with other family, but I have not been able to locate them. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Most of this information is unverified and comes from the Whipple page but it will give you a place to start. Isaac Buck, son of Isaac Buck and Abigail Randall was b. 11 Sept. 1762 in Somers, CT. He m. Submit Wilson 16 Nov. 1786 in Somers. They had the following children: Lucinda, b. 10 Aug. 1787, Williamstown, Orange, Vermont, d. 4 Dec 1804 same place; William, b.. 14 Oct. 1789,d. after 1825; Ira, b. 27 July 1791, d. 23 Sept. 1792; Ira, b. 6 June 1793, d. 4 Apr. 1877; Isaac Fellows, b. 6 Apr, 1797 (or 1795) in Williamstown, Orange, VT, m. Eliza Kimball 15 Nov 1798 in Bloomfield, Trumball, OH, d. 20 Oct 1865; Stephan, b. 26 Apr. 1797, d. after 1850; Philena, b. 11 Sept 1799, d. 18 Mar. 1888; and Harvey, b. 10 Dec.1802. My great great grandparents are Daniel Buck and he married Susan Rebecca Robison, they had 7 children. Buck is German and Robison is English. The children of Daniel and Susan were born in Elimsport (Lycoming Co.), PA. Daniel and Susan moved to Upper Marlboro, MD and most of the Bucks who moved to the area are buried in Trinity Cementery. Daniel's parents were Peter Buck, died 2/26/1870 and Sarah Baney, died 3/1/1893. All were born in Germany and came to Jamestown, VA. It is not clear if Peter had 2 or 3 brothers, the brother's names are William and John. If their was another brother his name is not know to us. Two of the children went to PA and the other stayed in VA. John married Mary and has a son named Clayton Buck born 3/23/1876. William DOB 9/10/1838 and died 5/16/1909 he married Barbara Ellin DOB 12/30/1842 and died 5/12/1900. The Bucks who lived in PA are buried in Elvira Cementery.

I am trying to trace Thomas Buck who was born about 1799 in England, he worked as a Brushmaker in London then was transported to Australia in 1819.
