    3. Sorry I cannot help. I really have no information except name, b.d abpout 1851 in Canada West, had a sister Harriet who was married to a Simpson and perhaps the first marriage to Erastus Pollard.. Martha Jane Buck 's origin was English as stated on various census'. I am presently waiting for microfilm reels from the Ontario archives. I shall keep your query on hand and inform if anything wonderful happens. Glad you were in touch. Delphine Cameron Large, Victoria, B.C.

My Liza married a Tom Freeman(Frieman, Fryman?) in NJ sometime between those dates already mentioned. Is it possible she's related to your Buck ancestor?

    3. Hi Bob.... I do have John Francis Marion in my data - he is my third cousin twice removed - so we weren't really close.... <g> I'll send you a group sheet of the data I have for him and his children. I do not have anything for John Ad Buck, other than his name and a birth year (1893) - So I can not help you there I'm afraid.... though perhaps someone else on the list may be of more help with this.... as I look at my data, it looks a bit questionable anyway, but I'll send you what I have. I am specifically referring to the family of John Francis Marion Buck, born February 23, 1859, in Fentress County, Tennessee, and died April 24, 1933, in Wayne County, Kentucky. He married Dora Alice Butler and they lived in the Oak Grove community. He is buried in Elk Springs cemetery, Wayne County, Kentucky. I am interested in his descendants, especially John Ad Buck, born about 1893, probably in Wayne County, Kentucky. John Ad Buck married Maude Cooper. As I scanned the map of Wayne County, I noticed that Coopers settled in this area. I'd like to learn more about them as well. John Ad Buck and Maude Cooper's son, Richard Marion Buck (January 8, 1921-February 26, 1997), was my step-father.
