Buchtel therein. It has been quite a while since I have worked with the early Colorado branches of the Buchtel family but I seem to recall that the previous work did not result in any proof how your family group tied into (or not) with the descendants of Johannes Buchtel who immigrated to America in 1753 (there were around 12 Buchtel families who came to America in the mid-1800's on which I have some data, but none which ties these folks to the original immigrants). I will refresh my memory with what I have done previously and get back to you in a "while". If you have a lineage or other information you would like to share with me, it may help clarify some of the relationships which do exist in the 17,000 person Buchtel Family Heritage Database which i maintain.--James R.
