Regina BUCHMANN (b 28 Feb 1830 Oberbronn, Elsas-Lothringen, Germany; d 9 May 1893 Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA). Regina married Philip MENGES, Sr. around 1853 but we don't know whether this was in Germany or Pittsburgh. He was from the same picturesque little town in what is now Alsace-Lorraine, France. This is obviously a stab in the dark but she is the only BUCHMANN we have and is our brick wall. So I'm taking the chance.
