I'm printing this off for future reference, although the only BUCHMANNs my husband has (I have none, myself) start in 1763 (Jean BUCHMANN who married Madelaine SERCKER) in Oberbronn, Bas-Rhin, France (at that time), and the children of that family, and a granddaughter--Marie Regine BUCHMANN (b 28 Feb 1830 Oberbronn) who married Philip MENGES--the last two either married in Pittsburgh PA or they came over from France married, we don't know.
