    3. So far I have had no responses to this query, which I have posted several times. So, once more, and if no responses I must pack my bags and leave . . . Looking for info re: the ancestry of my gg grandfather, George Washington BRYANT, b. 8 Sept 1840 somewhere in GA. By 1850, he was in Union Co., IL, with his mother Nancy (b. @ 1795 SC) and his siblings Joseph, Mary Ann, Lewis, Emaline, and Catherine. His sister Mary Ann married Theophilus TURNER 1853 in Union Co.; they were in Williamson Co. in 1860 and White Co., IL, in 1880. George Washington BRYANT served in the 15th Inf. from Alexander Co., IL, in the Civil War. He married 1.) Mary JAMES and in 1871 2) Rebecca E. VANWINKLE in Alexander Co. He moved to Stoddard Co., MO, by 1880, and he died there on 15 Sept 1908. His son William Marion BRYANT, b. 1883, was my great grandfather. His children were (not in chronological order): Ella Bryantb: August 21, 1867 William Marion Bryant b: November 27, 1883 near Bloomfield, Stoddard County, Missouri d: March 30, 1968 Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri Mary Ann Bryant b: February 01, 1872 George Washington Bryant b: November 27, 1875 Emma Berlinda Bryant b: August 29, 1877 Henry Levi N. Bryant b: October 12, 1879 (later moved to Arkansas) John C. Bryant b: September 09, 1881 Cora Bryant b: December 04, 1885 Dora Bryant b: March 11, 1889 Harrison Bryant b: June 23, 1892 James C.
