Irene Bryant Saunders, 85, died March 25th, 2000. Irene was born and raised in Nelson County, VA, but spent most of her life in Newport News, VA. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie M. "Jack" Saunders. Irene is survived by her daughter, Joan Dudash; grandson, Michael Gib- son ad great-grandson Benjamin; sister, Alice B Magann; brother, Melvin J.
