For the reference of those who might be researching Gabriel Bryant who is on the 1820 census in Floyd Co., KY: I recently located the will of Gabriel Bryant (Briant) of Parke Co., IN and it names his children. They were Liddy (Lydia), Lucinda, Nancy Ann, Gabriel, David and James. It appears there may have been another son as well but he is not mentioned in the will. He probably died before the will was made. >From the information we've found so far, this Gabriel Bryant is the same Gabriel who was in Floyd Co. KY. Census records of his children indicate the ones born around 1820 were born in Kentucky. Gabriel's wife's name was Phoebe. We believe she was Phoebe Marsh, daughter of David Marsh.
