Judy, Claremore, Okla. is loaded with Bryant's, However, I don't know of any of them doing research but me. This bunch descends from Riley Bryant, son of William. What line are you on? Wanda Norman ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Wanda - Saw your note about the Bryants in OK. I MAY have some folks on my Bryant side in OK - not sure as I've done no research on them. A long story and maybe myth about them. I'm interested in the William Bryant you speak of. I'm deadended (it took a long time to only go back two generations) and I'm not sure of the name of my G-G- grandfather - but I'm inclined to believe it is William (I know half the Bryants in the 17-1800's were named William). Also I unable to determine if my g-grandfather had any siblings. All I know he was born in GA about 1826-27. He named his first son William, and there was a William Bryant living close to the family my g-gfather married into in Chambers County ALA. The point of all this is do you have any information on the William you refer to in your 10/15 note to Judy. Do you know if he or his children may have gone to GA or ALA? My Bryants went to Ark from Ala sometime between 1880-1890 where my father and myself were born. Concidence - my wife's name is also Wanda Thanks for your response.
