I am still looking for connections to my grandfather Jonathan Alexander Bryant. I have just learned that he had a sister who was married to a Moxley, and then to a Matthews. There was a May Moxley who married a Hibdin. This was all in Oklahoma around Marshall County. I don't know my grandfather's sister's name, just that she married a Moxley and had several children by him. She was also married to a Matthews and had one child. It is also possible that he had a sister who married a Morgan and had two children by the names of John Morgan and Mary Morgan. My grandfather J.A. Bryant was born in Sept 1858, maybe in Alabama. He married Sarah Emaline Gray(she was born Dec 15, 1868) and they lived in Grayson County, Texas in the 1890's and moved to the area that is now known as Marshall County, Ok. Jonathan Alexander Bryant died in 1922, and Sara Emma(his wife) died in March of 1942. They are both buried at the Lark Cemetary in Marshall County, Ok. Their children were: 1. Oscar Bryant 2. Nora Bell Bryant b.June 18, 1894 died in Marshall County, Ok, Nov 1950 3. George William Bryant, Feb 2, 1887 in Grayson County, Texas, died July 19, 1938 in Marshall County, Ok 4. Sarah Ira Bryant March 18, 1888, Grayson County, Texas, Died Dec 26, 1929, in Marshall County, Ok. She married John R. Dewberry 5. Virgie Cordelia Bryant, b. Sept 21, 1897 died Sept 1974, buried at Lark Cemetary, married Henry McDonald 6. Carrie Bryant, b. March 31, 1899, died March 1976 in Ontario, Cal, married to Edward Stewart, and divorced from him. 7.Calvin Earl Bryant, b. Dec 17, 1908 in Marshall County, Ok, died Nov 1977, in Madill, Ok.
