Hi I've been following with interest recently some e-mails about Bryants from North Carolina. I'm trying to find out more about my g-g-g-grandfather, William Bryant, who reportedly was born in Ireland in 1760. He married (Sarah Johnson?) and had several children in North Carolina (Rockingham Co) before moving to Patrick County, VA where he died in 1848. My g-g-grandfather was John Bryant, Sr. born in 1809 in Rockingham, NC. and later also died in Patrick County, VA. Does anyone have any information about William, his wife, etc. I would especially like to know where in Ireland he came from and any information about his ancestors. Thanks. Sandy
