I would like to jump in on the discussion of Bryants from the Carolina's. I have Thomas N. Bryan(t) born in NC in 1817. He married Mary Ann Unknown (1837) who was born in GA in 1818. Most of their children were born in AL. Sometime around 1845 the family moved to Grimes Co. TX. Thomas died in 1862. The children were Elvina Charity, Naomi, Jonathan Wade, Steven H., Andrew, and Thomas Jr., It has been recommended that the wife is Mary Ann Pullen of Giles Co.TN because her mother was a Fuqua and her daughter Naomi married a Fuqua. The problems I keep finding are the dates of Mary Ann Pullen don't fit this family. I also can't find a census that lists this group of children. Thanks, Marge
