Well, fellow Bryants. here I am again, hoping someone is ready and able to share some information on my mysterious grgrgrandfather Eli Bryant, who 1850 census records indicate was born in SC. about 1812. I desperately need some clues as to where and as to who his parents and siblings may have been. He married Elizabeth Cooper, d/o Elizabeth Knighten and Jonathan Cooper and by the 1830's they had begun raising a large family in Lewis Co, KY. Their children were Jonathan b. 1834 , m. Mary Miller d/o Rosanna Croil and Jason Miller , killed in Civil War d. September 18, 1862 Lucy b. 1836, m Samuel Cooper March 15, 1856 Elizabeth b. 1838, m. Edward L. Cooper Nov. 11,1857 Mary Ellen b. June 9, 1841 m (1) Wm. Knapp Aug. 19, 1857 and (2) Edmond (Edwin) Pierce . She d. June 11,191Malinda b. 1843, m, an Ellison Nancy b. 1846 m.Fergerson Logan Dec 19, 1867 Cynthia b. 1849 m. Robert P. Johnson Aug 14, 1877 James b. 1851 m. Sarah CatherineEvans Permilia b. 1853, d. 1854 Eli b. 1855, m. (1) Emily Hinton and (2) Malissa Belle Abrams Hiram b. 1861 Elizabeth d.
