I second that! I have been following this list for months now, and other than a few bursts here and there, have not seen much genealogy being discussed. I have come close to removing myself, but resigned myself instead to discarding most messages that didn't pertain to Bryant research. I am looking for information on the family of Ambrose H. S. Bryant who was married to Rachel (Baker?) Ambrose was born c. 1829. Son, William Bryant, b. 1855 m. Mary Jane Mainer. Their daughter Rachel Emaline Lizabeth Ann Bryant ("Emma") was my great grandmother. She married George Washington Stacey. Have found land records placing Ambrose in Johnson County, Arkansas in 1860 and Yell County Arkansas in 1844 next to Elizabeth Bryant. (Land grant issued same day, so I presume Elizabeth and Ambrose are related - mother?) The children I have for William and Mary Jane Mainer are: Ambrose b 1877, m. Dora Beaver; Emma (above) b. 1879; Riley b. 1881, m. Hettie Casey; and Liza b. 1883, m. Joe Woods. Thank you, R. Arand
