I am looking for anyone who might know of or be descended from George W. Bryant and his wife Rebecca. I believe that George W. Bryant and his wife Rebecca Hollcomb/Halcomb Bryant were both born in Georgia, but by the time my grandfather Jonathan A. Bryant was born in 1858 they were in Alabama. Nothing is known about George W. Bryant or his wife Rebecca. It is believed that George W. Bryant was killed in the civil war between the states. Their son, my grandfather Jonathan Alexander Bryant later married Sarah Emmaline Gray and they were in Grayson County Texas before 1890 because about that time they moved to Oklahoma Indian Territory. My dad Calvin Earl Bryant was born near Enos Oklahoma in Dec. 17 1908. He was the youngest of about eight kids. Jonathan Alexander Bryant died 1922 in Marshall County, Oklahoma and his wife Sarah Emmaline died March 25 1942 in Marshall county Oklahoma and they are both buried near Lark, Oklahoma.
