    3. Hi MaryNell, I saw this and although I wasn't the one submitting about that Sarah, I remember corresponding with you before my husband died (1996). I didn't have a computer at the time, nor did I care about researching the family for a very long time. But, I am back in the saddle now. Would love to hear from you. T'Lene Bryant-Tillotson I, too, had a Sarah Bryant (daughter of John and Ellender Allen Bryant). I have found them in Jackson Co. Ala (what is now called Bryant, AL but formerly Long Island and Carpenter). Sarah married a Winfield Scott Porter and they moved to Arkansas where she died. My great grandfather was George Washington Bryant (1850-1910) - he was son of John and Ellender. His son, Standifer A. Bryant, was my grandfather...he married Amanda Licena Boatner. They are buried in Bryant, AL (Jackson County). My father was Earl Stanford Bryant (1909-1984) and mother was Cora Lee Smith (1908-1947). I won't be online this weekend, but will be next week if anyone wants to share information. Happy Weekend and Happy Hunting to all, T'Lene Bryant-Tillotson ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marynell Bryant" <mbryant@1starnet.com> To: <bryant@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, September 15, 2006 12:23 AM Subject: Re: [BRYANT] Sarah "Sallie" Bryant born about 1820 > Give me some more info on your Sarah Bryant.
