I finally found John in the 1880 census! So now I know his father was born in VA, and his mother was born in SC. John was born June 22, 1812 in GA. I THINK he was married in Oglethorpe Co. GA ( I know his 1st 2 sons were born in Oglethorpe). Wife = Eliza (probably KIMBELL) (slight poss. - ROWLAND) Children Sarah E Bryant - born GA, abt. 1838 Marr. Sanders Ruben SLAUGHTER John Sanders Bryant - born Oglethorpe Co, November 14, 1840 William Augustus Bryant - born Oglethorpe Co, March 25, 1844 Francis M. Bryant - born GA, abt. 1847 George W. Bryant - born AL, abt. 1848 Martha Bryant - born AL, abt 1852 Ida Bryant - born AL, abt. 1854 Alice Bryant - born AL, abt. 1857 They are found in Chambers Co. AL in 1850 Census and in Tallapoosa Co, AL in 1860 & 1870 censuses John BRYANT died Nov. 6, 1899, and is buried at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Macon Co., AL Does anybody know who John's parents were?
