Thanks Keith. I thought it was a good explanation also. At least it simplified it somewhat. Right now I don't know of any male BRYANTs in my line, although they certainly intermarried with my SHIPLEY line more than once. If I do find one I would recommend they use the FamilyTreeDNA site as personally I feel that is more reliable and easier to share information with others.
