May I suggest that we think in a different way. Currently The Bryant's have 27 sample of DNA on Y Search and 52 samples with the company I tested with. Look how the Harris handle this sort of problem. Here are two men that can increase our sample base. That is very very close to Franklin Co., Ga. It is the line I'm from but haven't done any research on it. Tillman was born about 1804 in Franklin County, Georgia, and died between 1870 and 1880 in Calhoun County, Mississippi. Nancy was born about 1805 in Franklin County, Georgia, and died between 1870 and 1880 in Calhoun County, Mississippi. Nancy is the daughter of William Tryon Patterson and Elizabeth Betty Moore. Tillman and Nancy had the following children: Dudley Russell Bryant, William Tryon Bryant, Leroy C Bryant, Alfred Tillman Bryant, Elizabeth Jane Bryant, Rhoda Permelia Bryant, Mary (Polly) Bryant, John Hampton Bryant (my gg-grandfather), Irvin Anderson Bryant, Nancy Brown Bryant, Milly J Bryant, and James Knox Polk Bryant. All of the children were born in Franklin County except James Knox Polk Bryant. He was born in 1846 crossing Alabama to Mississippi. I am trying to find out who Tillman Bryant's parents are. Any help and suggestions would be much appreciated. > > Thanks, > Bob Bryant > ============================================================= Hi, I am searching for information on H. P. Bryant, married to Sarah J. Tate in Sequatchie County Tennessee in 1875. Also I believe in 1871 he had married Carolina Tate possibly had a son with her. Probable first names are Hayden Preston Bryant or Harold Preston Bryant. I have contacted a man in Sequatchie County with an extensive history but mine is not related to this extensive group. He may have traveled with the Tate group out of Bunnacome County Va and settled in Sequatchie County Tn. They had 5 children 1/2 brother Lee, Myrtle, William, Adrian Preston, Thanks for any help on this. David Bryant bfc_101@hotmail.com
