That Josiah Briant/Bryant was born in S.C. about 1750 (family history, written 1920) That he live in Charity, VA from 1778 to 1794. (land record) He had five sons Ambrose, Josiah, William, John, Gabriel William born 1785 descendant y-search D642J Josiah born 1784 descendant is #57501 at the O'Brien project these two samples 65/67 at y67, the best test on the market today. They are part of a group called Irish Type III that are from the south western part of Ireland That any descendant of Josiah born of Josiah brothers or male 1st cousins would match DNA within in 64/67 if they were tested for y-DNA AT Y67 this is not a guess, it very near a fact!!!!
