Yes, I found him on the 1870 and 1880 census. That is all I have other then I know he is my great grandfather. My grandfather is Charles A Bryant. Charles Bester is my brick wall. Can't find anything more on him or Margaret Bruyer Bryant. They were both born in Canada according to the census and Charles father was born in Ma. According to the 1870 & 1880 census her name was Margaret. The last child they had in Canada was Lavina Bryant born in 1862. My grandfather Charles A was born in Wisc in 1869. So they had to come to America sometime between 1863 and 1868 I would think. What makes it so difficult to find the family is my father was killed when I was only 6. Mother remarried when I was 8 and my grand mother Bryant had nothing more to do with her because she remarried. Thank you for helping.
