My BRYANT family came from Clyst St. George, a village near Exeter in Devon. My great grandfather James BRYANT emigrated to New Zealand in 1839 and I have been looking for any descendants of his brother John Cawsey Bryant. I have not found John Cawsey Bryant in any English marriage or death records having searched the indexes for 100 years. He was baptised in 1809, date of birth unknown. My guess he also emigrated but cannot find him in NZ records. Does anyone have him as an ancestor? His aunt Mary Bryant born about 1782 married Rob Baker at Clyst St George.
