    3. Hi, Bob, I also have a Grandfather named Thomas Jefferson! But it doesn't seem to be the same line. My TJ was born in Atlanta, married Sarah Elizabeth Gross in Summerville, GA and moved to Section, AL, where he died at the age of 72. A lot of these Bryants came from Needham Bryant, Isle of Wight, NC. Almost every Generation had a William or a Lewis in it. I assume you've tried the LDS Family History Library? They have lots of info there, much of which is available on the Internet. Have you heard about the new DNA database that's being formed? I just sent my test away. They can likely match you up to your Ancestral Line. It costs $101.00 and just requires rubbing your inner cheek with a couple of swabs. There are some very active Bryant lines on the Genweb sites. The DNA test seems very interesting -- it can save you lots of time and money. It may at least norrow down your search. I'm very hopeful, anyway! 3. Jimmy - Thank you for your response. Sorry we cannot connect. I've have looked at some of the LDS family history - but so far without success. Yes I'm aware of the DNA test and a cousin and I are talking about spliting cost to do it. I've talked to others who have sent in the swabs - a mixed bag some with success and some were disappointed. I suspect the data base is not sufficent at this stage to cover the mulitude of Bryants, Bryans and all the other derivations. It is in the plan though. I'm interested in your comment on Needham Bryant in Isle of Wight, NC. This is new ground for me. I've explored and had some help on the Spartenburg Bryants but have not been able to connect there. But this Needham Bryant sounds interesting. Can you offer any other help on this area of research. Thanks again for your help and time.
