I have a family of Daltons as well, usually from PA via my mother. I have no information regarding Lewis E Bryant. All I have on Bryants are from Mississippi and Kentucky and that is my rock wall. Thanks Susan (Harman) Bryant. -----Original Message----- From: bryant-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:bryant-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of JimmyB Sent: Tuesday, October 24, 2006 4:12 AM To: BRYANT@rootsweb.com Subject: [BRYANT] Lewis E. Bryant, Hi, I'm looking for a Lewis E. Bryant who was supposedly born in SC. He showed up in the 1840 Census with a wife named Patience and 3 children, including a son, Lewis C. I haven't been able find out anythinf about his ancestry. If anyone has any info, let me know -- I have the rest of the line. I also have lots of Daltons, back to Claiborne in NC. Always glad to share. Jimmy Bryant, You might check out Spartanburg Co. SC; there was a large group of BRYANTs in that area. My maternal gg-grandfather, Muse Tolleson BRYANT b 1802 Spartanburg Co. SC. His parents were Rueben BRYANT and Nancy TOLLESON. Abigail you might find what you're looking for in this BRYANT line. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Susan Bryant" <nightowl1947@cox.net> To: <bryant@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 24, 2006 2:05 PM Subject: Re: [BRYANT] Lewis E.
