    1. Please read! Bryant Family Newsletter
    2. LadyD
    3. Hello Fellow Bryant Researchers, I have agreed to take over the Bryant Family Newsletter. First thing I would like to do as the new editor is to thank Awiusdi for the wonderful job that she has done and to let her know that she will be missed. Second thing that I would like to do is to let everyone know that for this newsletter to be a success then it will take all of working on it together. Right now we have people in place that take care of gathering information in the following areas: Family Story Coordinator Volunteer Donna E. Thompson [email protected] Birthday and anniversary volunteer Lady D (Debbie) [email protected] Census volunteer Pamela [email protected] COOKBOOK Lady D (Debbie) [email protected] Each month you will be getting an e-mail from the above people requesting information, please take the time to try and send them what info that you can. Remember that no matter how unimportant you may think that it is it might be that information that someone else needs. I would love to be able to read stories about your families. Sometimes we all need to have some type of bright spot in our days and I know that some family stories can be really funny. Also as you can see right now I am also the Birthday and anniversary volunteer and the Cookbook volunteer I will continue to take care of these areas unless someone would like to take over the positions. It hasn't really taken that much of my time to do these. If you think that you would be interested please send me and e-mail and I will let you know what you have to do. I would also like to add a new area called NEW FINDINGS I would need someone to take care of gathering the info for me. This would be an area where if you are researching and find info on Bryant's (even if it is not your family) then you could post what you have found. I know that there is one branch of the Bryant family (my family) that is almost impossible to find any info on. I will be working very hard on trying to get the newsletter online as soon as possible but to do that I have to have news so I am counting on everyone to help. Thanks for you patiences in reading this really long e-mail *S* Debbie Anderson PS I have moved all of my Bryant info from the hotmail e-mail address to this one.

    3. Hi Jerry, I'm Nick Bryant. I don't know about any of the Bryants you mentioned but they have a very similar migration pattern to mine, maybe we're related somewhere. My gggg grandfather was Garrett Neal Bryant/Briant, born in NC (unknown which county) about 1805. He migrated to Claiborne County, TN (which borders Bell County, KY where my grandfather ended up and where my father was born) in 1820. I have been dead ended at him for a while, all because I don't know which county in NC he came from. Talk to you later. 3. Hi Everyone! I didn't know what to put in this subject line, but may adopt "Listowner Notice" for any information I need to get to all of you. I hate virus warnings, but this one was on my Listowners List this morning, with the suggestion that we all post it to our lists. So... >>http://www.avertlabs.com/public/datafiles/valerts/vinfo/va10185.asp ExplorerZip.worm - very nasty one. 1. Absalom Bryant...an apology.
    2. Ian Bryant
    3. Hello readers, As some of you are already aware I have made a minor technical error which has caused a little confusion. In a previous message seeking information concerning Absalom Bryant I inadvertently gave the wrong birth dates. My apologies. Here is the corrected request; Has anyone ever come across two of my predecessors, Benjamin and Absalom Bryant. I believe that they were twins born in Fordingbridge or Godshill, Wiltshire, England in 1859. Their parents were James and Hannah Bryant (nee Walsh). Ben. was my great grandfather and has left a bit of a trail behind him, but Absalom seems to have disappeared completely. Any info. at all would be most welcome. Many thanks. -- +----------------------------------------+ Ian Bryant Wildlife Ranger Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service Southern Regional Office Tel: (07)46398350 Fax: (07)46394523 E-mail: Ian [email protected]

(dau. of Francis and Anne Halley) Is there any connection to your Bryan/Rankin/Forbis? - ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Phoebe (Bryan) Bryant To: [email protected] Dear Russell Ready, You were listed as the author/submitter for atleast two entries in Yates Publication Archive's "THE COMPUTERIZED ANCESTOR": 1. 2043.00 Phoebe Bryan married unknown Bryant 2. 1499.001 William and Mary (Boone) Bryan - Phoebe's parents I believe the unknown Bryant is my ancestor Thomas Bryan[t], Jr. b-12/8/1736. I have been told that two of their children were Evan and Faithful Bryant. Thomas' will dated in 1785 lists several other children too (could be Phoebe's or another wife's children?). Other than his surname, do you have any other information on them that would either prove or disprove this? For example, Phoebe's children's names, or anything else that you can think of? Other than your submission and my family information, I have not seen Phoebe connected with a Bryan (LDS links her with James Forbis in 1779-was that listing also yours?). If you do have confirming information, I would be happy to reciprocate.
