    3. I am trying to correct the census year on the DeKalb Co TN census I posted yesterday. It should have read 1860 census, not 1850. Sorry for the confusion, hope I didn't cause too much anxiety! Cousin Mary Bryant Park Mary Bryant Park [email protected]

    3. I would like to repost my BRYANT interests: My Bryants originated in Hertfordshire, England and settled in Jersey Co, IL and later Madison Co. Various other known branches have settled in Chillicothe, Ross Co, OH; Oregon, Pennsylvania, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Most of the emigration from England took place around 1860 and later. Every month or so, I make new contact with another branch of my family, but this contact is made mainly from postings I have at Hertfordshire websites. I am happy to correspond with anyone and share the information I have. Patti Hohne in California

    3. Well, fellow Bryants. here I am again, hoping someone is ready and able to share some information on my mysterious grgrgrandfather Eli Bryant, who 1850 census records indicate was born in SC. about 1812. I desperately need some clues as to where and as to who his parents and siblings may have been. He married Elizabeth Cooper, d/o Elizabeth Knighten and Jonathan Cooper and by the 1830's they had begun raising a large family in Lewis Co, KY. Their children were Jonathan b. 1834 , m. 3. >I am happy to correspond with anyone and share the information I have. Patti, As I am really baffled in trying to find more information on my Lizzie Bryant, I thought that maybe you would have some suggestions for me. Lizzie BRYANT was probably born about 1840-48 in NJ or England. The census gives conflicting information on her birthplace. I am trying to learn the names of her parents and siblings. The little I know about her is that she and William SEARS/SCEARES had a daughter Elizabeth born in 1866, Hartford, CT. Elizabeth married in Idaho in 1883, but I have been unable to learn what became of her parents. I have found no record that they went to Idaho but a hint that they may have been in Illinois. Many thanks. Roberta [email protected]
