    3. Hello Everyone. I would like to ask all of you to cooperate with me on my efforts to compile listmember reports that will be available online. The information I am asking for is: 1.Earliest ancestor : Name, locations, dates, spouse and children. (LIMITED to that starting generation please.) 2. your first name and email address 3. your website URL These reports have been very helpful to people who visit my websites on these surnames. ALSO I have had very few responses to the opportunity I laid before you to compile a online Master Gedcom for our surnames. I would like to update the files I have so I can be of more assistance to the members of my rootsweb groups. ALSO if you are interested in me starting up Family Associations that would include yearly reunions and starting packets please email me at once. Those of you who have joined my old FAMILY ASSOCIATIONS ARE STILL MEMBERS. There are yearly dues however but they are resonable. Let me know of your interests. Not sure where AMZI is from, Clara was born in Collinsvile, NY. They both married and moved to Indiana where they had 2 daughters IDA & MARGARET (My great great grandmother). Your BRYANTS intrigued me cause I am told there is Cherokee indian in my lineage, but family lure states its through Clara, who grandmother ELLEN ROSA was to be a full blooded Cherokee. I hope we can help each other out. I will post this on the list as well. JAY

I have been researching the Bryant family trying to find some information about my fathers family. My Grandfathers name was Robert Lee Bryant born in Clarksville, Tn., June 8, 1872. He married Lana Maude Cooke sometime in the 1890's. His father was Robert E. Bryant, and his wifes name was Mary. I'm nor sure if this is part of the same Bryant family, but was just curious in checking. Any information you could give me to help in my search would be much appreciated. Thank you. 1. [BRYANT] Re: BRYANT-D Digest V00 #18
    2. David, I have absolutely nothing more about Lewis Franklin Bryant. As I understand it the person that did this research believed that he had come from Great Britain because prior to him there had been no other Bryant in SC. That may or may not be a good reason for the assumption that he came from Great Britain, but it is all that I have. At this point I would just be happy to have the name of his wife. She apparently had died before he did since she was not mentioned in his will but that is all I know. Barbara

I have Franklins in my Bryant line going back to ~1740 in Somerset, England though I'm not aware of any where the two names are joined. Unfortunately Bryant is a very common name in Britain, especially in the West Country, so finding a link might be difficult. Regards David Bryant <[email protected]>
