I am looking for the parents of Lou Ann, also refered to as Louise Bryant. She was born 12/1869 in Bittany, MO. Her father was John M. Bryant born in Kentucky. Her mother Elizabeth Unknown born in Missouri. She married my gg grandfather Thomas Jefferson Sherry in 1888 in Washington Co, Arkansas. This is as far back as I have been able to take her lineage. David, I have absolutely nothing more about Lewis Franklin Bryant. As I understand it the person that did this research believed that he had come from Great Britain because prior to him there had been no other Bryant in SC. That may or may not be a good reason for the assumption that he came from Great Britain, but it is all that I have. At this point I would just be happy to have the name of his wife. She apparently had died before he did since she was not mentioned in his will but that is all I know. Barbara
