    1. [BRYANT] Bryant, William Turner
    2. Kyle Lites
    3. Hi all, Seeking information on the following: William Bryant b.______d.1827 married Elizabeth b.______d. after 1830. Children: Gibson Bryant b. 1798; Benjamin b. 1803; William Turner b. 1815; Robert Tolbert b. 1815; Gilbert and Jurson or Judson. William Turner married Lucinda Simms and Robert Tolbert married Elizabeth Sims. You can see by the dates that William and Robert were twins. These men were from SC according to the census information in Jasper & Covington counties MS, but resided mostly in Smith county, MS where they reared their families. In "Who Married Whom, Covington County, MS' by Janet Smith, Jean Strickland & Patricia N. Edwards 1991, Gibson is on the 1830 census married to a Sarah Craft. Benjamin is shown w/ wife Francis Hill b 1818 Tennessee. Also, Gibson is shown as b. 1795 and Benjamin b. 1811. The MS state tax lists show William Turner in MS as early as 1841, many times as Turner and once as James Bryant w/ wife Lucinda. Any help establishing the ancestors of these men and their home in SC would be much appreciated. Kyle
