I have recently connected my HILEMAN line to the BRUMBAUGH family of Huntingdon County, PA. Esther Brumbaugh, b. c1823, is the daughter of John & Mary Brumbaugh. The books say that Esther disappeared while on the way to a neighbor's house and was never seen again. Another account states that Esther disappeared with David Hilleman or Hileman. Esther did marry David Hileman c1843 and raised a family in Burnside township, Clearfield County, Pa. before moving west to Washington State c1890.
