Dear List, My husband is descended from the BROWNBACK family. My first question is: Does this BRUMBAUGH list also cover the BROWNBACK family? If so...then my next question is: My husband's great grandmother was Martha BROWNBACK SHOWALTER, who was the daughter of Jesse and Sarah KEELEY BROWNBACK of East Coventry, Chester county, Pennsylvania. Martha's siblings were Sophia (m. Daniel MARCH), Morris/Maris (m. Clara E. BENNER), Hannah R. (never married), George (m. ?), Davis (m. ?) and Clara (m. Amos HIESTAND). Does anyone know where Jesse and Sarah KEELEY BROWNBACK are buried? We've walked through the cemetery at Brownback church, but did not find them there. According to the book _Genealogy of the BRUMBACH Families, including those using the following variations of the original name, BRUMBAUGH, BRUMBACH, BRUMBACK, BROMBAUGH, BROWNBACK, and many other connected families_ by Gaius Marcus BRUMBAUGH both Jesse and Sarah died on the same day: June 30, 1898. Thank you in advance for any help you may provide. -- Marge Galus Sandlier Omaha, Nebraska m-sandlier@home.com Forget Me Not - http://members.home.net/sandlier/ Forget Me Not II - http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~sandlier/
