His father was Lawrence Brumbaugh (also born PA) and his mother was Julia McAnnack or Julia Paup (records conflict). I believe James married Emma Barkley in 1874 in Lost Nation, Iowa and then married Katherine Werkmeister in 1901 in Lakeview, Iowa. James died April 1942 in Emporia Kansas. He is my ggrandfather (through his daughter Luella). Thanks!
