I am looking for any descendants of Rufus Brumbaugh. He would be my gr uncle. Rufus was born Feb. 2, 1864 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania to Elizabeth Hoover Brumbaugh - his father is unknown and family history has it that he was killed in the Civil War. Rufus died Sept. 10, 1942 in Latrobe, PA and is buried in Bunker Hill Cemetary in Bedford County. Rufus was married to a lady named Ardella and was widowed at the time of death. He was survived by 2 children, William of Fort Pierce, Florida and a daughter Mrs. Blanche Gerginsky of East End Pittsburgh, PA. He was also the grandfather of 4 grandchildren (names unknown) and 2 great grandchildren (names unknown).
