Brothers Guy W. & Ralph W. "Rick" Shannon, she m. Lester Wade Brumbaugh in Panora, Ia. 24 Dec 1912. Rick m. Stella Ethel Ashpole 2 Oct 1914 in Guthrie Center, Ia. by 1930 they were living in Coon Rapids, Ia. The 3 Shannon children were raised by the mother & sister , of there mother, in Bayard, Ia. The Brumbaugh Family were living in Perry, Ia. in 1917 at the time of her fathers death. At that point of time they had a son James Henry Brumbaugh. Lesters father, William Walter Brumbaugh d. in 1939 and was m. in 1888 to Nancy Jane Harris who was living at the time of his death. His sons Lester Wade & Chester Wayne had died before him. Williams obits give me the names of two sons for Lester & Mae. James Henry, living in DeMoines, Ia. & Russell Ward, living in Pontiac, Mi. It also gives me the name of a gr-granddaughter, Maelene Alice Brumbaugh, of DeMoines, Ia. I'm assumeing this was a dau of James. James (MAY) have been b. 2 Jan 1914, d. 22 Dec 1982 Fort Worth, Tx. This info from Ancestry.com Social Security Death Index & Texas Deaths 1964-1998. Does anyone have any info on this family? Mae was my grandfathers cousin. I'm trying to trace my Shannon line.
